Description
We encourage you to participate in the final conference of the iMonitor project, taking place on 27 March 2025 in Brussels (Hotel Indigo, Room Sundew, Place Charles Rogier 20, 1210 Belgium).
This event marks the conclusion of iMonitor 1.0, a two-year initiative dedicated to strengthening public procurement oversight through data-driven civic monitoring in collaboration with law enforcement agencies.
Over the past two years, iMonitor has been implemented in Italy, Lithuania, Romania, and Catalonia (Spain), putting into motion an innovative approach to civic monitoring of public contracting. This conference will provide a platform to reflect on the project’s impact, share key findings, and discuss its future evolution as iMonitor 2.0, with an extended geographic scope and new developments.
Agenda highlights:
- Keynote speech: Mr. Nicolae Ştefănuță, Vice-President of the European Parliament
- Insights from the field: Lessons learned from iMonitor’s implementation in four European regions
- Panel discussion: Experts from the European Commission (SG REFORM), the European Parliament, Transparency International, and other leading organizations such as will debate the role of big data and civil society in safeguarding public investment
- Networking opportunities: Engage with key stakeholders working on public procurement transparency and anticorruption
This is a unique opportunity to exchange best practices, connect with leading experts, and contribute to shaping the future of civic monitoring and data-driven approaches to fighting corruption.
Participation in this event is free but we kindly ask you to register via this link.
